FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):
EX: The article cites Maria Nikolajeva, a professor of at Cambridge, as saying that Bella does not "in any way promote independent thinking or personal development" in women, instead portraying a woman "meek and willing to do anything for her vampire boyfriend" (POV).

This article believes that the tv shows"the difficulties of being a struggling teen mom"

Psychotherapist said "the shows show teens that pregnant life is not glamorous."

This does have a lot of affect "if a girl has a stable home life a solid foundation and relationship with her parents then this type of reality TV does not affect them in a negative way."

Parents have "talked about how hard it is to take care of children."

If teens need fame that means they are not getting the "love and attention she's not getting at home"

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION):

This article is about what parents think themselves of the tv show. The parents talk about how they are okay with their child watching the struggles and are open to watching it with them. The parents say it is not glamorized.

Credibility of Source:
Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site?

The author is Mary Fetzer and is just writing about her opinion. The funds is parenting advice.

Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business?
Fetzer is just describing about what parents themselves actually think about Teen Mom and if it is a positive influences on their child.
Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing?

Their is a slight bias because Fetzer does talk about only how parents like that their is a show about teenage pregnancy.

References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility?

The author does have references on the parents views and actual quotes they have said themeselves. This does add some credibility on the article.

Use of Source: How will you use this source in your project?

I can use this on my project by having actual quotes from parents that they like their teenager watch Teen Mom and how it does send a positive message.
